Cynthia + Nick at Wolf Oak Acres | Syracuse, NY Fine Art Wedding Photographer

I was introduced to Cynthia and Nick via mutual friend (hi Alex) early last summer, before they even had a date or venue nailed down. As soon as we knew the availability worked, we booked their wedding day asap. I've always wanted to shoot at Wolf Oak Acres, and it did not disappoint.

I love, love, love the details and personality they embellished everything with, right down to their respective cultural heritages. Cynthia told me about having her heart set on an authentic Dominican wedding cake, which friends transported all the way from NYC. I loved their signage in both Spanish and English. The pictures honoring family members strung up on the trees for their ceremony, which took place in the woods alongside a creek. The bridesmaids' sparkly gold dresses. And the funny, warm, down to earth, and inspiring love shared with their parents, family, friends, and each other. It was just a really good day.

Two of my future brides were also at their wedding (hi Steph and Leah), so I love this circle! And finally, we ended the night, as my weddings usually do, outside taking moody low-light shots before sending off the newlyweds with sparklers.

So much love to you both.

I worked alongside some great fellow wedding vendors, so please check them out below!
