There’s like a chip commercial, or something, where the slogan is all “Bet you can’t have just one!” And that’s pretty much how I felt trying to go through these photos and decide what to share. I wanted to post them all. I adore them.

Shauna and Brandon are wedding clients of mine who will be celebrating their big day next September. I’m so glad we met and that I’ll have the opportunity to work with such beautiful people again next year.

We had a drop-dead gorgeous night in Hammondsport, where we started shooting on a friend’s property overlooking vineyards and Keuka Lake. Flawless. Then, we went on to this hidden stream that I never would have known was there without the guidance of Shauna’s parents. That’s where we finished, strolling through the icy water with their adorable chocolate lab, Archie. Look at his handsome face!!!

I love engagement sessions because meeting/working with clients before the wedding is really, really enjoyable to me. It helps me establish a relationship and become friends with the amazing people I’m lucky enough to work with. For example, I now know firsthand these two have an effortless chemistry and love that I can’t wait to photograph again.
